How to Reset Canon PIXMA iX4000 or iX5000 step by step

Turn off the printer
Connect the power cable to the Canon PIXMA iX5000 / iX4000
Press and hold Resume / Cancel button
While pressing the Resume / Cancel button, press and hold the Power button. (Note: Do not release the button. Power LED in green light to indicate that one of the selected function)
While holding the power button, press the Resume / Cancel button 2 times, then release both the Power and Resume / Cancel buttons.
When the Power LED lights in green, press Resume / Cancel button 4 times to reset the waste ink counter Canon Pixma iX5000 / iX4000.
Press power button.
